Yep.. no..Still haven’t left the dye studio in case you are wondering...lol....
Still pushing myself to get as much ready for the handknitters guild show next week Sunday! While dyeing I have been hunkering forf magical things to happen like : my dye room becoming like the tardis and being bigger on the inside, yarns and tops getting magically dyed in minutes insteaqd of hours and days, the miraculous appearance of ten dobbies to help me out…to conjure up some magic while standing at the dyepot and making my “dye potions” I have been listening to Stephen Fry reading all the Harry Potter books.
It helps, however, it did not make elves magically appear. I have to say, I am making great progress with the dyeing and I am proud to say that all the yarns I wanted to get done are spun and dyed and at the moment drying in front of the fire and in I should say, almost every room of the house. No, there is no such thing as containing “crafty work” confined in the studio or dyeroom, fluff tends to spill into every part of the house no matter how hard you try. I guess that is the magic of fluffy stuff !
Did I say all the yarn is dyed and spun for the Handknitters guild next week? Yes ! That does not mean I can put my feet up though, there are still lots of fibres that need to get finished and still dyed! The excitement never stops and I guess it stems from the fact that I cannot contain (there’s that word again..lol) the need to share all the exciting yarn and fibre . Yes, I blame the yarn and fibre ..lol
